About Me
Hello! I am Bec, welcome to my website.
I am an experienced humanistic counsellor helping people to grow by deepening their understanding of themselves and by seeing the choices they have.
I understand that life can feel difficult and challenging at times, perhaps through life circumstances, complicated relationships with others, difficulties at work and home, or from grief and loss. Maybe you are feeling anxious, unhappy, bewildered and unsure where to turn. Counselling offers you the opportunity to explore your worries and concerns and for you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your feelings. This in turn can enable you to feel in a more self-confident and resilient place in life.
I believe that central to counselling is the nature of the relationship between therapist and client. I will offer you a caring, non-judgemental, respectful and honest relationship where I can give you the time and space to be heard and understood and through this connection the opportunity to change.
FdSc Humanistic Counselling - University of Greenwich trained in the theoretical models of Person - Centered, Existential and Gestalt.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a counsellor at a charity organisation.
Prior to my counselling career I worked as a Registered Nurse within the NHS and abroad. I am also a qualified aromatherapist.
